Acknowledging the past, building the future

Join me in a pursuit of truth and recognition. This page is dedicated to highlighting a significant educational milestone and the desire for its proper acknowledgment. Through shared stories and evidence, we aim to inspire a future of mutual respect and understanding.

My pioneering achievement

Eleven years ago, I proudly graduated from Central Piedmont College with an Associate in Surveying Technology degree. I was the first man or woman to achieve this distinction. This accomplishment was a significant personal milestone and a testament to dedication in a challenging field. It's a story I shared with my granddaughter, hoping it would inspire her own journey.

The call for recognition

Despite this unique achievement, it remains unacknowledged by the institution. My hope is for Central Piedmont College to formally recognize this historical fact. True progress includes honoring the pioneers who paved the way. This recognition isn't just for me; it’s about acknowledging a part of the college's own history.

Supporting my claim: documents and images

To support this advocacy, I am prepared to share relevant documents and pictures that corroborate my story. These materials serve as evidence of my graduation and the specific nature of my degree, illustrating a significant moment in both my life and the college's history. My goal is for this achievement to be acknowledged and shared widely.

"My biggest wish is that this story helps us all to stop hating each other and truly love one another. It's a big ask, but it's what I hope for."
